Your Consultation
What happens during the on-site consultation?
Our estimator will visit your property where the fence will be installed. They’ll walk the area, check the terrain and soil conditions, and take accurate measurements to determine the best fence types for your yard — and calculate the total fence length. After the inspection, we’ll sit down with you and go through a special design book that showcases all the available fence styles, materials, and layouts. Together, we’ll find the option that fits your property, your goals, and your budget. Once you’ve made your choice, we’ll answer any remaining questions and send you a detailed estimate the same day by email. The estimate will break down everything — material costs, labor, and any optional upgrades. From there, it’s up to you. No pressure — you decide whether you’d like to move forward with us.
How long does the consultation take?
On average, the consultation takes about 30 minutes — but we always go at your pace. If you have more questions or need extra time, we’re happy to stay as long as needed. Every project is unique, and we’re here to make sure you feel confident before moving forward.
Do I need to be home during the consultation?
Ideally, yes — it’s always better when we can walk the property with you and talk through your goals in person. That way, we can give you the most accurate advice and answer your questions on the spot. But if you’re unavailable, no problem. We can still complete the on-site evaluation and send your estimate by email the same day.
Can you give me a quote over the phone or online?
We can give you a rough estimate based on photos, measurements, or satellite images — but for the most accurate quote, we always recommend an on-site visit. Seeing your property in person helps us assess the layout, slope, and any specific needs to avoid surprises later. It’s fast, free, and gives you a detailed breakdown of everything — right from the start.
How soon will I get my estimate?
As soon as you reach out — whether by phone or through our website — we’ll schedule a visit at the time that works best for you. If today works best for you, we’ll do our best to be there today.
Can I make changes after I get the estimate?
Of course! We want you to be 100% happy. If you want to switch materials, fence styles, or add options — just tell us, and we’ll update your quote.
Fence Installation
How long does the fence installation take?
Most fence installations take 2 to 3 days, depending on the total length and site conditions. But if you’re in a hurry — we’ve got you covered! We offer an Express Fence Installation option where your fence can be completed in just 24 hours. In fact, we’ve installed over 300 feet in a single day. Fast doesn’t mean rushed — we keep the quality high, no matter the speed.
What if it rains on installation day?
We keep a close eye on the weather. Light rain usually isn’t a problem — our team is fully equipped to work in typical Washington conditions. But if the rain is heavy or it could affect the quality of the installation (like setting posts in soaked soil), we’ll reschedule for the soonest possible dry day. Your fence needs a solid foundation, and we’ll never compromise on that.
Do I need to be home during the installation?
It’s not required — we can complete the entire fence installation without you being home, as long as we have access to the work area.
Will you remove my old fence?
Yes — we’ll take down your old fence, clean up the area, and haul everything away for disposal. It’s all part of the job.
What kind of materials do you use?
We only use high-quality materials — no shortcuts. Unlike big-box stores that focus on volume, we work with trusted local suppliers who prioritize durability and craftsmanship. Their materials cost more, but they last longer — and that means your fence stays strong and beautiful for years to come.
Can I make changes once the installation starts?
If it’s still early in the process — absolutely. For example, if we haven’t set the posts yet and you decide to switch to a different system, we can usually make it work. That said, we go over every detail with you during the consultation to avoid surprises later. So in most cases, everything is already planned and clear before installation begins.
Do you call 811 to mark utilities before digging?
Yes — always. Before we start digging, we contact 811 to have all underground utilities professionally marked. It’s a standard step to keep your property safe.
And just for your peace of mind: we’re fully insured. So in the rare case that something does go wrong, it’s covered by our insurance — not your wallet.
After Installation
What happens after the installation is complete?
Once your fence is installed, we’ll walk you through the finished project and make sure everything looks perfect. Then we’ll give you a quick post-install consultation with tips on maintenance and care. You’ll also receive your warranty certificate — and hopefully, a great first impression that lasts just as long as your new fence.
Do you clean up the job site?
Absolutely — that’s part of the job. We make sure your yard is clean, safe, and looks just as tidy as it did before the installation. No leftover materials, no mess — just your brand-new fence, ready to enjoy.
Do I get a warranty?
Yes — every fence we install comes with a full installation warranty. We offer two types:
5-Year Warranty – This is our standard warranty, and it covers all fences we build.
10-Year Warranty – This extended warranty applies to fences built with our Post-on-Pipe system, which offers extra strength and durability.
Either way, you’re covered — and if anything goes wrong, just reach out. We’ll make it right.
What should I do if something breaks or shifts?
It’s simple — just give us a call. We’re always here for you. Whether it’s a loose post, a gate issue, or anything else, we’ll take care of it quickly and professionally. Your peace of mind matters to us.
How do I maintain my fence?
It depends on the material you choose.
Vinyl, iron, and chain link fences are low-maintenance — just rinse them with water once in a while to keep them looking fresh.
Wood fences need a bit more care. To protect them from weather and aging, we recommend staining or sealing them every 2–3 years.
Don’t worry — we’ll walk you through everything after installation so you know exactly how to keep your fence in great shape.
Can I contact you after the job is done?
Of course! We’re here for you anytime — even after the work is done. Whether you have a question, need help, or just want to chat about your fence, you can reach us 24/7. We’re always happy to help — even today.
